Richard Bieniek, 86, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on January 1, 2020. Born on June 26, 1933 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late John and Josephine (Bialobrzewska) Bieniek. On June 15, 1968 he married the former Suzanne “Sookie” Connor. She predeceased him on March 14, 2014.
Richard was a lifelong resident, attended local schools and retired from Airco Speer. Richard was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and a master of “snow removal.” “King Richard,” as he would sometimes refer to himself, enjoyed taking care of his yard and home and bike riding with his granddaughter, “lil’ T.”
Richard is survived by his daughter, Wendy (Terry) Stiltner; granddaughter, Teaa; sister, Florence (late Zenon) Krull; sister-in-law, Dorathea (late Glenn) Mort and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by siblings, late John (Frances) Bieniek, late Delores (late Frank) Broucek, late Julia (Jack) Witacre.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will begin on Wednesday, January 8th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one's choice.
