December 24, 1937 ~ June 27, 2026 (age 88) 88 Years Old

Robert Burt Life story

Robert H. Burt, 88, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on June 27, 2026.  Born on December 24, 1937 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Willard Hamilton Burt and the late Esther (Schul) Shephard and the husband of the late Frances (DaDario) Burt, married on June 30, 1962.  She predeceased him on February 15, 2012.

 

Robert proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as a Corporal E-4, from August 22, 1955, until his honorable discharge on August 21, 1959. He retired from Presolite Battery (later Tulip Corporation), where he worked as a Shipping Supervisor.  Robert was an exempt member of Niagara No. 1 Volunteer Fire Company and enjoyed traveling, skiing, driving and bike riding.

 

Robert is survived by three daughters, Kim (Matt) Gladish, Kathleen Burt and Kristen (Mark) Kim; two grandchildren, Chelsea (Neil) McGee and Daniel DiPizio; step-grandson, Trent Kim; two great-grandchildren, Kellan and Elio McGee and a brother in-law, Frank A. DaDario.  Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a brother,  Frederick Burt.

 

Family and friends are invited to attend Robert’s Mass of Christian Burial, concluding with Military Honors, on Wednesday, July 1st, at 10:00 a.m., celebrated in St. Peter’s Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice.
