Robert James Kennedy

Robert James Kennedy, 79, of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away suddenly on February 5, 2024 at Buffalo General Medical Center.  Born on August 29, 1944 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Robert James Kennedy and the late Ann (nee MacKay) Kennedy.  On January 30, 1965, Bob married Patricia Anne Kempf.

Bob was a lifelong area resident.  He graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1962 and attended the University at Buffalo, studying engineering.  Bob currently was the owner and operator of Kennedy's Dynotune, Inc., since 1980.  He had a lifelong passion for drag racing and never met a dog he didn't like.

In addition to his beloved wife, Bob is survived by children, Catherine Anne Kennedy, Robert James (Barbara) Kennedy, and Sean Patrick (Sarah) Kennedy and grandchildren, Sarah Beth Kennedy, Scott (Mackenzie) Kennedy, Elizabeth Godlewski, and Gordon Kennedy.

All are welcome to join Bob’s family on Friday, February 9th, from 4-7 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007).  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA.
