Rose Marie (Szarszewski) Robinson

Rose Marie Robinson, 77, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed away on July 14, 2025 at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital.  Born on May 30, 1948 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Randock) Szarszewski and the wife of the late James Robinson.

Rose graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  She was employed as a Nursing Assistant at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  Rose was a member of Prince of Peace Church (St. Vincent de Paul Parish).  She sold Avon for over 25 years and delivered for the Niagara Gazette for many years.  Rose enjoyed swimming, picnics, bingo, watching TV, camping and going to the cottage.

Rose is survived by children, James Robinson, Michael Allen (Raelene Gorzka) Robinson and Felicia Robinson Linde; grandchildren, Courtney (Michael), Marisa (Richard), Alyssa and Derek; a great-grandson, Douglas; sisters, Carol (Walter) Royer and Bernice (late Allen) Smith and several nieces, nephews and cousins.   Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Christopher Robinson and a sister, Marcella Vangilder.

All are welcome to gather for visitation on Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where Rose’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd, at 11:30 a.m., with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating.  Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the American Heart Association.
