Sally (Newman) Mastrangelo

Sally (Newman) Mastrangelo, 70, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on October 24, 2025 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY.  Born on May 19, 1955 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Nels and Mary (Figler) Newman.

Sally graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1974.  She was a longtime Tops Friendly Markets employee working at many locations.  Sally enjoyed crocheting, needle point, baking (she was an amazing cook), going to the beach, spending time with her dog Lilly, dressing up for Halloween and singing no matter where or when.  Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Sally is survived by two daughters, Nina (David Homa) Mastrangelo and Anna (George) Ihle; two grandchildren, Kendall and Lincoln; siblings, Mary Lynn (Robert) Marcolini and Patty Jo (David) LeGault and several nieces, nephews and one great-niece. She is also survived by her former spouse, Anthony L. Mastrangelo.  Besides her parents, Sally was predeceased by a brother, Nels A. Newman. 

All are welcome to gather for visitation on Tuesday, November 4th, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where Sally’s funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., with Rev. Laura Norris-Buisch officiating.  Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
