Samuel D. Lehr, 57, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on June 22, 2026 at Buffalo General Medical Center. Born on January 20, 1969 in Lewiston, NY, he was the son of Linda A. (Newbury) Lehr and the late Robert J. Lehr and the loving husband of Kathleen (Baum) Lehr, married on December 3, 1994.
Sam graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School as well as BOCES, where he served as Class President for both and graduated from Ohio Diesel. He was the owner and operator of National Maintenance Contracting Corporation as well as Small Town Big Bucks. Sam enjoyed hunting, fishing and racing and was a strong community supporter.
In addition to his mother and spouse, Sam is survived by daughters, Shelby (Robert) Forster and BayLee Lehr; a grandson, Owen; a sister, Tammy (late Jamie) Bellreng and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
All are welcome to gather for visitation on Friday, from 2-8 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where Sam’s funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 27th, at 10:00 a.m. Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one's choice.
