Sandra M. (Shiah) Lechner

Sandra M. (Shiah) Lechner, of Sanborn, NY, age of 81, passed away on September 16, 2024 at Roswell Park.  Born on April 27, 1943 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Teresa (Pugliese) Shiah and the wife of Mark Lechner, which they celebrated 60 years of marriage on August 8th.

In addition to her husband, Sandra is survived by children, Mark S. (Sheila) Lechner, Monica L. Owens and Charles A. Lechner; grandchildren, Duncan and Tessa Drozdowski and Kieran Lechner; two sisters, Barbara Weiss and Charlene (Donald) Dupree and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

All are invited to attend Sandra’s Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, September 19th, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Parish, St. Leo’s Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
