Shirley E. (Dugas) Alcorn

Shirley E. (nee Dugas) Alcorn, 87, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on March 23, 2023.  Born on November 9, 1935 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Loretta (nee Carl) Dugas.

Shirley was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  She retired from Carborundum, where she was employed as a production worker.  Shirley was a member of Prince of Peace Church (St. Vincent de Paul Parish) as well as their Altar and Rosary Society.  She loved children and animals.

Shirley is survived by her children, Theodore J. (Lianne) Alcorn, Barbara Hanna, Ronald T. Alcorn and Becky (Robert) Salerno; grandchildren, Jeffery (Jennifer) Hanna, Aaron (Jennifer) Hanna, Amy (Jordan) Collins, Luke (Celia) Previte and Matthew Previte; 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday, April 5th, from 4-8 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007).  Private interment will be held with her family in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  Professional arrangements are under the care of the Goodlander family.  Share condolences and view her tribute video at GOODLANDERCARES.com
