Shirley (nee Hoak) O’Callaghan died peacefully on July 18th at age 93 . Born on June 6, 1928 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of late Ted an Anna Hoak.
Shirley was a gifted seamstress and was the owner of O’Callaghan Custom Drapes for 50 years.
Loving mother of daughters, Peggy (Michael) Beckage, Sue (Mike) Hefferon and Karen (late Kevin) Hanes; sons, Dan (Jenny), Jeff (Diane) and Greg (Luanna) O’Callaghan; grandchildren, Christopher (Jen) Beckage, Nicole (Joe) Pasceri, Shannon (David) Acosta, Daniel (Kari) O’Callaghan, Derek (Nicole) O’Callaghan, Tyler (Stephanie) O’Callaghan, Jim (Rachel) O’Callaghan, Adrienne (Chris) O’Callaghan, Nick (Anastasia) O’Callaghan, Mary (Shawn) McNally, Caroline O’Callaghan, Russ O’Callaghan, Ashley (Mike) Dworzanski, Kateyln (Craig) Fontana, Scott Hefferon, Kevin (Jenna) Hanes and Kyle (Bobbie) Hanes; great grandchildren, Sarah, Logan, Shelby, Carson, Luca, Avery, Cooper, Shawn, Ava, Anthony, Aaron, Jack, Allison, Colin, Chloe, Ethan, Kylie, Camryn, Cody, Ryleigh, Eleanor, Addison, Hunter, Jordan, Ella, Alle, Jack and Mickenzie; sister-in-law, Katherine Hoak and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her husband Thomas of 46 years in 1995; son, Ronald (Tina of Niagara Falls) in 1982; brothers, Harold (late Ange), Don and sister Norrine (late Roy) Hasley. Shirley was the longest living family member of her parents and siblings.
Family and Friends are invited to memorial gathering at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls NY (716-297-9007) on Wednesday, July 21st from 3-7 p.m., with a service immediately following.
