Theresa Marie Monpetit

Theresa Marie Monpetit, 91, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed into the eternal arms of Jesus on October 6, 2021.  Born on August 30, 1930 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harris and Kathleen (nee Flynn) Monpetit.

Theresa was employed as a cashier at A&P supermarkets and retired from Slipko Bros. Foods.  She was a member of the former Sacred Heart Church and currently a parishioner and communicant of St. Mary of the Cataract Church.  Theresa enjoyed knitting baby sweaters and afghans to give to relatives and friends. Prior to her long time companion’s passing, Gino Bobbera, they enjoyed traveling together.  Theresa was a dog lover and adopted many dogs throughout the years. 

Besides her parents and companion, Theresa was predeceased by a  sister, Eva Marie (late Arnold) Littlewood and leaves behind a sister,  Ann Baldwin and several nieces and nephews. 

There will be no prior visitation.  Family and friends are invited to attend Theresa’s Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 13th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Cataract Church, with Rev. Jacek Mazur serving as celebrant.  Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  Masks required at all gatherings.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA.  Professional arrangements are under the care of the Goodlander family, OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007).  Share condolences and memories at GOODLANDERCARES.com
