Thomas H. Weld

Thomas H. Weld, age of 70, passed away on May 7, 2024.  Born on December 14, 1953 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Howard and Geraldine (Laraba) Weld.  On May 11, 1974, Thomas married Evelyn Cullinan.  He passed away just days from their 50th wedding anniversary. 

Thomas retired from Carborundum Abrasives and was currently employed with Niagara Wheatfield Central School District. He enjoyed euchre with his friends, playing the guitar, and painting.  Thomas was an avid Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan (lifelong) and animal lover.

In addition to his wife, Thomas is survived by children, Rhonda (David) Federspiel, Jennifer (Douglas) Mooradian, Patricia (Steven) Jordan, and Thomas (Tiffani) Weld II; grandchildren, Kayleigh (Elliott), Brendan, Armen, Ashton, Tyler, Madasyn, and Adrian; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Wesley; his beloved dog, Gigi and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one great-grandchild, Troy Thomas and by siblings, Caroline Seefeldt, Roger Weld and Donna Frost.

All are welcome to gather for visitation on Tuesday, May 14th, from 4-8 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007). In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Furever Friends Dog Rescue of WNY.
