Timothy M. Collins, Sr.

Timothy M. Collins, Sr., 64, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on July 18, 2021 at Niagara Hospice House.  Born on September 6, 1956 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late James M. And Jeanette (nee Corah) Collins.  On May 3, 1980, Tim married Sharon Trayer.

Tim was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and graduated from LaSalle High School. He was employed by Norampac Industries, Inc. up until his illness. Tim enjoyed genealogy, fishing with his daughter-in-law and gardening.

In addition to his wife, Tim is survived by a son, Timothy M. (Amanda) Collins, Jr.; siblings, Donna (late Thomas) Wojcik, Jo Anne (late James) MacNeil and Dawn (Richard) Ely; mother-in-law, Mary (late Franklin D.) Trayer; his beloved pets, Archie and Chewy and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Marlene (late Daniel) Burns.

The family will be present on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007) where Tim’s funeral service and life celebration will be held on Friday, July 23rd at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Laura Norris-Buisch officiating.  Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Acacia Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice.  Professional arrangements are under the care of the Goodlander family.  Share condolences and memories at GOODLANDERCARES.com
