Tyrone Aughtmon Life story

Tyrone “Ty” Aughtmon, 77, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on February 15, 2021 at Niagara Hospice, Lockport NY, after a lengthy battle with COPD. Born on July 14, 1943 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Claude Aughtmon and late Ethel (Maxwell) Palmer.

Ty served in the United States National Gaurd.  He worked at Acheson Graphite, Union Carbide, and Gills Plumbing. Every year, he looked forward to his “Ty’s annual pig roast” a tradition his children intend to carry on.  Ty enjoyed taking his Harley for a ride and was a lifetime member of HOG, and an avid NASCAR and drag racing fan.

Survivors include his former spouse, Dolores (Rybarczyk) Aughtmon and their children, Lisa (Andrew) Klebaur and Jason Aughtmon; ten grandchildren, Christopher Aughtmon, Alexis Aughtmon, Andy, Ryan, Noah, Evan, Iain, Owan and Jonathan Klebaur; one great-grandson, Logan Aughtmon; his dear companion and best friend, Sue Holmes and her son, Kenny Holmes; one sister, Beverly (late Junior) Yamonaco; one brother, Fabian (Johanna) Palmer; brother-in-law, James (late Karen) Rybarczyk; sister-in-law, Sharon (late William) Rybarczyk; his beloved cat, Little and several nieces and nephews.

Ty graciously donated his body to the University at Buffalo Anatomical Gift Program. A Life celebration will be announced at a later date along with a memorial ride.
