Usama Jabaji Life story

Usama S. ‘Sam’ Jabaji, 62, of Wheatfield, NY, passed away on February 25, 2024.  Born on June 19, 1961 in Benghazi, he was the son of the late Saleem and Rose (Bawab) Jabaji.

Sam LOVED cars, specifically vintage Volkswagen Beetles. He was always such a math wizard and was top in the nation for business finance in the car industry that he devoted a good portion of his life to. Sam was the most selfless man and would give anyone the shirt off of his back and he did it with a smile, just like the pain he was suffering with- always with a smile. He was the strongest fighter we’ve ever known. His grandsons brought him so much joy and love along with his children. Sam was a tinkerer, always fixing and building. He loved restoring cars and making bikes and enjoying the outdoors on his “toys”. Sam’s  favorite color was blue.  He was always apart of his daughters adventurous shenanigans that he would proudly tell stories about. Sam was so proud of his children’s accomplishments and the life he built with his wife. One of his most recent favorite things to do was having his grandsons sleep over in despite of how much pain he was in, would get them in the car and drive to DiCamillos Bakery to get donuts for breakfast, then pull out all of the “toys” and go riding around the neighborhood with them. Sam had an unwavering faith in the midst of his health adversities knowing that the ultimate healing would come from God. Until we meet again in the arms of Jesus- that’s the joy, smile, and light we will always remember.

John 11:25-26

He was the husband of Cindy (Macaluso) Jabaji; father of Rosemarie Spagnuolo (Frank) and Tarek and Alex Jabaji; grandfather of Giovani and Luca Spagnuolo and brother of  Fayek, Bernadette, Marwan, Sawsan, and Taghreed.
