William R. Rohrback, also known as Billy, 53, of Wheatfield, NY, passed away suddenly on May 26, 2025. Born on July 16, 1971 in Lewiston, NY, he was the son of Suzanne S. (Davis) Richards and the late William E. Rohrback and the step-son of Susan Rohrback and the late David P. Richards.
Billy graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School. He was previously employed, for 25 years, as a Buyer, for Armstrong Pumps in North Tonawanda. Billy was a member of the American Legion Post #1451. He was an avid Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bills fan as well as NASCAR fan. Billy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at Long Beach in Canada and at his 'happy place' in New Smyrna Beach in Florida. He coached his son and nephew in hockey and supported the travel hockey program.
In addition to his mother and step-mother, Billy is survived by a son, Jacob (Elise Kendt) Rohrback; sisters, Melissa (Jason) Garlinger, Lori (Cliff Kendzia) Russell and Tina (Jack) Weeks; fiancé, Jeanine Jesz and her son, Jackson; former spouse, Kelly Page Rohrback; nieces and nephews, Dr. Hailey Russell, Ryan Russell, Jay Smith, Emilie Smith, Lauren Demato and Danielle Demato and several aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many friends.
All are welcome to gather for visitation on Thursday, from 3-8 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where Billy’s funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th, at 11:00 a.m., with his Uncle, Michael Cuddahee officiating. Friends invited. Prayers of committal and entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made a charity of one's choice.
