David C. Hadad

David C. Hadad, 69, of Wheatfield, NY, suddenly passed from this life on Saturday, June 25, 2016 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  Born on May 5, 1947 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Helen (Mezhir) Hadad.  On April 16, 1983, he married the former Elaine Hanna.  She predeceased him on September 3, 2007.

Mr. Hadad was a lifelong area resident.  David attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1965.  For several years, he worked for General Motors (Tonawanda Plant), until he retired in 2003.  Mr. Hadad was an avid New York Yankees fan.

In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Hadad was preceded in death by two daughters, Alicia and Beth Hadad; one step-daughter, Sherry Littlewood and two siblings, Rev. John Hadad and Elaine Hadad Sharp.

Survivors include his step-children, Angela (Joseph) Minicucci, Lori (John) Metro and Michael (Nicole) Littlewood; grandchildren, Joey, Christopher, Johnny, Teddy and Nathaniel; sisters, JoAnne (late Richard) Werth and Barbara Sumbler and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, in the Town of Niagara.  Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 30th at 10:00 a.m. which will be celebrated in Holy Family Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Duane Klizek serving as celebrant.
