John J. Cullen, Jr., 58, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, following a lengthy illness.  Born on April 7, 1957 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late John J. and Mary T. (O'Connor) Cullen, Sr.  On June 7, 1986, he married the former Claudia E. Gertz.

Mr. Cullen was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY.  John attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School.  For 28 years, he was employed by Nabisco, until their closing and then went on to work for Saint Gobain.  Mr. Cullen enjoyed classic cars and watching NASCAR.

Mr. Cullen is survived by his wife, Claudia E. (Gertz) Cullen; two daughters, Annmarie (Jim) O'Connor and Andrea Viele; three grandchildren, Jimmy, Grace and Zachary and two siblings, Kathleen Lundy and Christopher Cullen.  John is also survived by one niece, Molly (William) Webber; one great-niece, Emily; two great-nephews, Leo and Jude and several cousins.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Mary A. Rosini-Lafornia and one great-nephew, Ian Alexander Webber.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 4-8 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007).  Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 16th at 10:00 a.m. which will be celebrated in St. Mary of the Cataract Church, 259-4th Street, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Jacek Mazur serving as celebrant.  EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH.  Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one's choice.  Please visit www.ottoredanz.com
