Robert R. Baxter, 94, died on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Omaha, NE – Crowne Pointe Assisted Living.  The Niagara Falls native was born on April 13, 1921.  Son of the late Ralph and Mildred Baxter.  He attended local schools and graduated from Murray Hill High School, NYC, NY.  During WWII, Mr. Baxter served in the European Theater.  He worked as a Chemical Operator at EI DuPont for 29 years.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Gloria A. Baxter.  Also preceding him in death was his son, Rick W. Baxter (Bonnie) Clarkston, MI; Brother, Richard Baxter and great granddaughter, Meghan Baxter.  He is survived by two sons, Mark R. Baxter (Suzanne) Fairfax, VA and Donald N. Baxter (Peggy) Omaha, Nebraska.  He is also survived by one sister, Marilyn Krause.  Robert has six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  

Visitation will be on Friday, September 18th from 10-11 a.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007) where a funeral service will follow visitation at 11:00 a.m.  Interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one's choice.  Please visit www.ottoredanz.com
